London Dungeon

***Book Today & Pay No Fees***

The London Dungeon is one of the capital's 'must-see' signature attractions - delighting audiences for almost 40 years. It's a 90 minute journey through 1000 years of London's murky past. You and your companions walk through the Dungeon, moving from show to show, guided by our professional actors.

The shows are based on real London history and legends (minus the boring bits). You'll get up close and personal with sinister characters including Jack the Ripper and infamous barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd.

It's a fully themed experience. That means 360° sets, full on authenticity and theatrical storytelling. On your journey you'll pass through the Whitechapel Labyrinth of misty East London streets, plague-ravaged houses, the fearsome torture chamber... and see (and feel!) what could have been if Guy Fawkes had succeeded. Believe us, it's better than a sightseeing or boring museum tour of London.

It’s 1840s London and a criminal network of ‘resurrection men’, notorious for making a less-than-honest living digging up the dead, are prowling the capital’s cemeteries for fresh corpses. On entry to the Dungeon, guests will find themselves in an East London grave yard, guarded by a watchperson, bent on interrogating everyone in their path about the recent grave robberies. Once inside the depths of the Dungeon guests will encounter John Bishop, the enterprises’ leader, who will reveal the secrets of the trade and deal unsuspecting guests, a ‘donor’ card. During this disturbing encounter, guests will be ordered to scratch their card to reveal their fate. Those with ‘full body’ cards will be eligible for a live dissection in the Doctor’s surgery.

What is ‘The Tavern’?

A major permanent expansion, The London Dungeon Tavern will transport guests to a vibrant, decadent and decidedly dodgy Victorian pub.

In the authentically recreated tavern, guests will hear, feel, smell, see and truly LIVE the drama in a 360 degree fully themed set - and no two tables will get quite the same experience.

The show will feature two key characters and guests will receive one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) upon arrival into The Tavern which is included in the price of their ticket.

Where is ‘The Tavern’?

The Tavern is located at the end of the experience after Drop Dead: Drop Ride to Doom.

As this is at the end of the tour, guests can decide to stay as long as they like and are able to purchase more drinks if they decide to do so.

The London Dungeon brings 1000 years of history to life in 19 live shows, including 2 thrilling rides, all in 90 minutes. Guests will be guided through plague-ridden streets, witness Guy Fawkes’ dramatic plot to blow up Parliament, travel back to Jack the Ripper’s bleak Whitechapel and hear the latest gossip and share a drink with the locals in The Tavern, the all NEW Victorian pub experience.

THE HOME OF HALLOWEEN PRESENTS THE WITCH HUNTER

This October the London Dungeon will pit those of you brave enough to join the witch hunt with the sixteenth century Matthew Hopkins, known as England’s Witchfinder General.

Hopkins and his associates were responsible for more hangings than in the previous 100 years, with Hopkins believed to have been responsible for the deaths of over 300 women, all suspected of witchcraft.

You’ll be lured into Hopkins’ Witchfinder’s den, where you’ll find yourself part of his latest witch hunt investigation and he’s determined to locate his next witch! But will Hopkins sniff out the right victim? One thing that is for certain, he will stop at nothing until he gets his confession!

Will you survive the hunt?

Our Halloween show will be running from 1st - 31st October.
